How is God Calling You?: A Discernment Retreat
November 3-4, 2017
Location: Koinonia Retreat Center in Annandale, MN
“Discernment, then, is the process of intentionally becoming aware of how God is present, active, and calling us as individuals and communities so that we can respond with increasingly greater faithfulness. Those moments in which we make decisions are privileged times in which discernment can make a big difference: in decision making, self-determination comes together with God’s call.” – Elizabeth Liebert
How is God calling you? To explore the answer to that question, we invite you to join us for an overnight discernment retreat at Koinonia Retreat Center in Annandale on November 3-4. This retreat will provide a safe, nurturing space to ponder how the Spirit of God is leading you. This gathering is especially geared toward those who are discerning a call to rostered ministry. To learn more, please contact Deacon Mary Kay DuChene who serves as one of the Assistants to the Bishop of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Event details: The retreat will be modeled around the biblical text Luke 24:13-35. There will be time for worship, fellowship, group sharing, and individual reflection. Meals will be provided. Registration deadline: October 24, 2017. Cost: $25.00.
