Hayward Quartet (Hayward, MN, group includes Rev. Scott Meyer, Phil Tennis, Kevin Lukes, and Dan Johnson), formed in 1996, is a gospel quartet comprised of members from Hayward & Trondhjem Lutheran churches where Rev. Scott Meyer served before being called to serve as an associate pastor in Waseca; Meyer is a native of the Mona congregation. (added 7/23/08)

The Foundation Quartet (Apple Valley, MN) includes of Bob Fallt, John Backstrom, Dester Kile & Dale Tornell. The group presents gospel music that talks about the foundations of faith, forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ and the joy of Eternal life with Him. (added 7/23/08)

Meyer Brothers (Mona, IA) includes Kurt, Lowell, Mark & Scott Meyer, who may be joined in their musical performance by other family members. The Meyer Brothers are native sons of the Mona Lutheran Congregation. They always provide uplifting meaningful gospel and light hearted spiritual music. (added 7/23/08)

Mark your calendar’s for South Zumbro Lutheran Church’s 3rd annual Christian Music Festival!

Kicking off our event this year, will be a special worship service. Throughout the day, a variety of Christian music groups will perform, and games, contests, and magic shows will be held. There will be a country store with crafts and produce, a food tent, children’s carnival, and silent auction until 4:00 p.m.

In the evening, a Hog/Turkey roast will be served from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The bluegrass, gospel singing group, Cabin Fever, will perform at 7 p.m. A youth event and bonfire featuring special guest, Bob Colquhoun, will follow.

Sunday, a special 140th anniversary church service will be held followed by an old-fashioned basket lunch auction.
