Ever wonder why people under 30 think, act, speak, and make decisions the way they do? Further, why are they always on a mobile device? More importantly, how do we engage this seemingly disengaged age group to participate in the life of the local church? In this session, we’ll look at the embedded values of a new media culture—Interactivity, Customization, Connectedness, Ubiquity, and Sharing. These values shape the decision-making of an entire generation—more than the family values they grew up with! Understanding them is the first step to bridging the gap between digital natives and the local church.
