The following are the Southeastern Minnesota Synod congregations/individuals planning Global Mission trips. Feel free to contact them if you have any questions or are interested in joining them.

If your congregation is going on a trip to another country, let us know! Katie Livingood or call her at 800-426-6376 in Minnesota or 507-280-9457 with the following information:

• Congregation and city
• Destination
• Dates
• Reason for going (visit partner congregation, mission trip through a specific organization, etc.)
• Open to other participants? If yes, then:
  • Registration deadline
  • Cost (and related information like fundraising opportunities)
  • Who to contact
• Contact name and information (email, phone)

Oct. 1-16, 2009: Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Austin, to Tanzania
Cost: $3,200
Registration Deadline: August 15

Our group will visit the new hospital in Selian, work in our partner congregation in Kindampanda, and take a safari.

Jan. 31 - Feb. 11, 2010: Trip to the Holy Land (Israel/Palestine)
Cost: $3095 (includes airfare, lodging, most meals, ground transportation, and visits to sights), additiona costs are airport taxes ($133) and gratuities ($96)
Registration: First come, first served (limited number of spaces)

This trip is intended to be a "Pilgrimage" to the Holy Land. In addition to visiting many of the places we read about in the Bible, there will be opportunities to visit with local Christian leaders and community members.

Leaders are Rev. Craig Breimhorst (Christ Lutheran Church, Faribault) and Rev. Steve Delzer (Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Faribalut).
