In order to live our our mission to “Equip congregations and leaders to follow Jesus into a changing world,” the Office of the Bishop is partnering with Stewardship for All Seasons (SAS) to provide growth opportunities for the people of this synod!

To be a part of the 2017-2018 cohort, congregations are invited to return the application/covenant below to Rev. Pete Reuss (reuss@semnsynod.org)  by May 1st.

SAS Celebrations:

  • “St. John’s has always had strong stewardship, but Stewardship for All Seasons helped our whole stewardship team think in new ways about how we connect our mission to our giving, and the congregation has noticed the difference! Our intents to give for 2017 increased by over $110,000 compared to 2016. We’re looking forward to the next steps as we integrate these new mission goals into our ongoing communication about giving.”  – Rev. Pam Fickenscher, St. John Lutheran Church, Northfield
  • In the fall of 2016, nine congregations in SAS who had a history of pledging increased their pledges by over 15%, totaling $504,000.
  • Faith Lutheran Church in Winona expanded their ministry to youth by hiring a youth director as a direct result of Stewardship for All Seasons.
