Sabbatical Guidelines and Application - Currently under review  
If funds are available for the calendar year, rostered leaders who apply may receive up to $2,000 from the sabbatical fund, (salary and benefits to continue) and the congregation or institution may receive up to $2,000 from the sabbatical funds for interim ministry up to three months.

Sexuality Studies information ELCA
The 2001 Churchwide Assembly has mandated that this church engage in a study on homosexuality and a study on sexuality. The first is to deal with the blessing of same-gender unions and the rostering of persons in committed gay or lesbian relationships. The second is to lead to the development of a social statement on sexuality.
