2023 Synod Hunger Grant Recipients Announced

Each year, the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Hunger Team and Global Ministry Table come together to sponsor an annual food ministry grant in partnership with synod congregations as they follow Jesus' command to 'feed the hungry' in their local community.

The following congregations have been awarded a 2023 Southeastern Minnesota Synod Food Ministry grant of $500:

• First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea
• Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Austin
• Central Lutheran Church in Winona
• Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester
• Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove
• Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center

The following four specialized ministries have also been awarded $500 grants:

• Anyuak Faith Community, Our Savior's, Austin (South Sudanese)
• Nuer Faith Community, Our Savior's, Owatonna (South Sudanese)
• Dinka Faith Community, Zumbro, Rochester (South Sudanese)
• Hispanic Ministry, First, Lake City (AMMPARO)
