Feeding Rushford Students

Trinity Fellowship used the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Food Ministry Grant for the local backpack program at the Rushford-Peterson school. Each week, students are supplied with a bag providing food for the weekend. This school year’s program began the last week in September and ran through the last week in May. We began the year with 19 bags going out every week and are presently packing 15 bags a week. This program is administered by members of Trinity with volunteer packers provided by six area churches.
