What does it mean to be a good steward? What does healthy stewardship in a congregation look like and feel like? How do we practice generosity in the midst of a pandemic? Why does stewardship even matter?
If you’re interested in any of these questions, please consider joining the synod’s new Stewardship of Life Club. This group is for anyone interested in what it means to live with openness and generosity including council members, rostered ministers, faith formation leaders, and stewardship committee members.
Each month we read a brief article related to stewardship in advance. Then we arrive ready to discuss. We also leave plenty of time for the sharing of our congregational ideas and experiments. If you have any questions about the Stewardship of Life Club, please email synod staff member Rev. Emily Carson at carson@semnsynod.org.
