Update Regarding the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Assembly 2022:

We are continuing to plan for an in-person, one-day Synod Assembly at the Verizon Center in Mankato, MN, scheduled for May 7, 2022. We also recognize that the ever-changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic require us to maintain flexibility.

On January 4, the Executive Committee of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Council passed a motion to require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for attendees of the Southeastern Minnesota Synod Assembly. Details regarding the required time frame for testing will be forthcoming. 

If there are additional changes to any of the plans or requirements for Synod Assembly 2022, we will inform you as promptly as possible. This information is being provided now as many congregations elect voting members at their annual meetings, typically held in January and February.  

Registration for Synod Assembly 2022 will open on Tuesday, February 1. We look forward to gathering as together we Imagine: Endless Possibilities in God’s Grace. We thank you for your partnership in ministry as we give thanks to God for God’s goodness and grace!
