This is a ministry leadership position that bears primary responsibility for faith-developing activities for children and adults for Our Savior's Lutheran Church Spring Valley, MN. Qualifications: The Part-time Coordinator for Christian Education will have a sense of call that is grounded in an understanding and appreciation of Lutheran theology and a passion for the spiritual growth of people of all ages, particularly with children. There must be demonstrated experience in leadership, working with volunteers, recruiting, organizing and supporting a collaborative team. A background check will be required. Faith Life Expectations: It is expected that the Part-time Coordinator for Christian Education will participate regularly with worship, prayer and congregational activities. Compensation: The time required is estimated at 15 hours weekly, based on an annual calendar of activity that may have seasonal variation. Salary is to be contractually agreed upon at the outset of employment, and will be reviewed annually.

Sunday School Coordinator

The primary purpose of this position is to organize, coordinate, and supervise Sunday School for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (OSL) of Austin, Minnesota. The Sunday School Coordinator must have a passion for Christian education, excellent administrative and communication skills, and a firm commitment to the discipleship of Jesus Christ. The position is approximately 10 hours per week / $20 per hour to start. The possibility of additional hours will be considered based upon the skills and talents of the candidate and may include curriculum development and other facets of Christian education in the future.

Worship and Music Coordinator
St. John's Lutheran Church (Kasson)

The Worship and Music Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, directing and implementing the vision, strategy and innovations in the ministries around the worship services of the church in conjunction and coordination with the pastors and other members of the worship teams. This is a developing role for St. John’s and will be flexible to the needs of the church and the abilities of the person in this role. This staff member will be involved in volunteer recruitment, especially musicians. This is a developing and evolving role. The full job description is available here.
