Matt Bloom, Ph.D., is emeritus professor at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. For almost thirty years, he studied the wellbeing of helping and healing professions, and he now spends his time working on ways to help these amazing people flourish in their work. Matt has a Ph.D. in psychology from Cornell University. Matt and his wife Kim, who is a counseling psychologist, split their time between Washington, DC, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Among Matt’s favorite wellbeing practices are hiking the trails around their home, reading poetry, and baking bread.
