Sam is the pastor of First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. He began ordained ministry in 2019, serving a rural church in North Carolina. Sam is originally from Pennsylvania and did not grow up Lutheran, but has come to love teaching confirmation to young and older adults alike. Sam is married to Brittany, also a pastor, and they have two children. They have been married since 2010 and have lived in Minnesota since 2022.
