Rev. Vincent O. Aaker Passes Away
6/25/09 - It is with sadness I want to inform you of the death of the Reverend Vincent O. Aaker, 77, on Sunday, June 21, 2009 after a brief illness. Vince donated his body to medical education and research, giving himself to others in death as he had done in life. Memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.

God's work. Our hands. Art Contest
4/23/09 - The Southeastern Minnesota Synod office invites members from throughout the synod to submit artwork representing “God’s work. Our hands.” Entries should display everyday things in the shape of the cross, demonstrating how God’s work is carried out. Any one-dimensional format that is able to be scanned is acceptable - painting, drawing, etching, textiles, etc. Top entries will be used for synod Christmas cards, the synod website, and possibly other uses.
